A Guide to Using a Vapor Steam Cleaner to Clean Windows

A number of people use vapor steam cleaner machines to clean windows. Though windows are cleaned frequent, dusty and dirt-ridden window sills and jambs can be overlooked. Additionally, many methods of window cleaning leave streaks and dirt still on the window. When dirty, these surfaces can be an eyesore and can damage the reputation of the business or shop.

One of the most efficient methods of window cleaning is the use of a vapor steam cleaner with a squeegee wand.

How It Works

A vapor steam cleaner ejects dry steam onto the surface. This high temperature output, up to 360°F, melts the dirt, stains and, other impurities present on the surface. One can either remove the molten dirt residue with an attached vacuum or manually remove the residue using a towel. A squeegee tool serves the purpose of the residue remover while cleaning windows.

Selecting a Machine

Some of the latest steam cleaner models contain an attached squeegee tool, such as the machines in the KleenJet® series from Daimer®, a top notch distributor of cleaning products. These machines are ideal for cleaning windows and a variety of other surfaces within businesses.
